I see myself as part of pivotal role for better quality of life of my fellow living beings including humans, animals, plants and environment.

In my professional life I see myself pioneering newer therapies which can add years to life, moreover I want my patients to add life to their years gained.

Lung cancer and GI cancer are my areas of interest. I see myself as part of experimental medicine in future.

I see Sujok acupuncture as a significant part of palliative medicine for oncological patient. I see myself as an important contribution in its recognition.

Oncology Training curriculum

Trained at P.D Hinduja National Hospital (tertiary care hospital)

Hands on practice of oncological procedures like Central Vein catheterization, spinal fluid tapping, pleural taping and paracentesis

Outpatient exposure of 40-60 patients per day

In patient exposure of 50-70 patient at a time

Three compulsory academic activity per week Viz. Journal club, Multidisciplinary Tumour board and Haematology/basic sciences, For the duration of three years of residency

Exposed to heterogeneous population ranging from resource limited background to affluent affording population (who can afford newer drug in their treatment spectrum)

In house bone marrow transplant unit clinical exposure

In house radiation department equipped with IMRT.
